Your project brief is prepared in your browser. Nothing is sent to BLACKHAMMER until you choose to send the email.

01Who is responsible

Mehmet Alp Aktemur operates this website under the studio name BLACKHAMMER TECH, based in Istanbul, Türkiye. BLACKHAMMER TECH is a trading name, not a separately incorporated company. Contact: hello@blackhammer.tech. For personal information handled for the purposes below, the website operator is the data controller.

02Information we handle

When you contact us. If you send an email, we receive your email address, name and signature if provided, message, attachments and email metadata. A project enquiry may include your country, whether you act for a business or yourself, selected package, budget, timing and project description.

While you prepare a brief. The website prepares the project brief in your browser. Its form does not submit your answers to a server. “Prepare project email” creates a draft; “Copy brief” copies it to your device clipboard. We receive it only if you send it to us. Your browser, clipboard or email application may retain information under their own settings.

When you browse. Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, requested page, browser/device information, time and error or security events to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising pixels or visitor analytics.

Feedback. If you authorise a testimonial, we may publish the agreed review, rating, display name and project category. You can contact us about that permission.

03Why we use it

We use enquiries to respond, understand requirements, assess fit and prepare proposals. Where applicable, the legal basis is taking steps you request before a contract. For business representatives and routine correspondence, it may instead be our legitimate interest in communicating with potential clients, balanced against their rights.

We use necessary technical information for reliable delivery, troubleshooting and security, based on legitimate interests where applicable. Records needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal rights are handled for those purposes. Authorised testimonial publication relies on the permission given; you may withdraw consent for future publication.

Where Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 applies, processing relies on the relevant conditions in Article 5, such as contract-related necessity, legal obligations, protection of rights, legitimate interests or explicit consent, as appropriate. We do not treat browsing, reading this notice or acknowledging enquiry terms as blanket consent.

We do not sell personal information, use enquiries for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or automatically subscribe enquirers to marketing. Giving project details is voluntary, but we may be unable to assess a project without sufficient information.

04Providers and disclosures

Website hosting and delivery are provided through OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers. Business email uses Spaceship’s Spacemail service. These services process the information needed to deliver the website, route or store messages and protect their systems. Your own email provider also handles messages you choose to send.

Information may be disclosed to a professional adviser or an authority where necessary for advice, a legal obligation or the protection of legal rights. We do not publish private project briefs. Work that requires subcontractors, access to customer systems or processing personal data on a client’s behalf is scoped separately, with appropriate confidentiality and data-processing arrangements before access.

Instagram and other external services linked from the site have their own privacy terms. Following a link takes you to that service; we do not embed a social tracking widget.

05How long information is kept

Enquiry correspondence is kept for the time reasonably needed to answer the request, discuss a possible project and handle follow-up. If a project proceeds, relevant records are kept with the project file for the agreed work and applicable legal, accounting or claims requirements.

Retention is determined by whether a discussion remains active, the record’s purpose, legal obligations and any unresolved dispute. Once those purposes no longer apply, we will delete or anonymise the information, subject to legal retention requirements. You can ask us about a particular record or request deletion. Infrastructure and email providers may retain operational logs and backups under their service policies; removal from active correspondence does not necessarily remove every backup immediately.

06International handling

The studio operates from Türkiye. Website and email providers may process information in other countries. The location and protection of information can therefore depend on the service involved.

Cross-border processing must have the legal basis and safeguards required by applicable law; this notice is not consent to a transfer and does not assert that a particular transfer agreement is already in place. Contact us for details of the provider arrangements relevant to your enquiry. Do not send regulated or sensitive datasets as part of an initial brief.

07Your choices and rights

You can request information about how your personal data is handled, access to it, correction of inaccurate information or deletion where applicable. Depending on the law and circumstances, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Under Türkiye’s Law No. 6698, applicable rights include learning whether data is processed, its purpose and recipients, requesting correction or deletion under the law, requesting notification of relevant corrections or deletion to recipients, objecting to an adverse result from exclusively automated analysis, and seeking compensation for unlawful processing.

Email hello@blackhammer.tech with your request. We may ask for information proportionate to confirming your identity, and will respond within the applicable legal time limit. These rights have conditions and exceptions. You may also complain to the competent supervisory authority, including Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), or your local authority where applicable.

08Demonstrations and sensitive information

Aster Care, Ember Kitchen and AVENOR are fictional studio concepts. Their appointment, order, basket and reservation previews run in the browser; they do not make real bookings, take payments or collect patient records. Demo selections are not submitted to a business.

Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, health information or other sensitive personal data in an initial enquiry. The site is intended for people exploring professional services, not for children. If a child’s information has been supplied, contact us so it can be addressed.

09Changes and contact

This notice reflects the website as described on the date above. If we introduce payments, analytics, a newsletter or a server-submitted form, we will update the relevant information and obtain any consent required before enabling that processing.
